As per our previous Newsletter our July 2018 Foundation Camp at Mission Oak High School was a huge success. We are currently planning future camps and are eager to expand to more areas. We're looking for people passionate about our mission that would like to help get involved with donations to support our programs. We are extremely grateful for the generous gifts that our donors have already contributed to our cause. Your kindness and generosity is is what makes our camps and programs possible. Since launching The Green Family Foundation we have joined teams and created new and exciting ways you can help make a difference and contribute that we would love to share.
Social Media plays a huge role in our community outreach. You can donate directly to our Facebook Page or host a fundraiser of your own and have it linked directly on your profile. To create a fundraiser for The Green Family Foundation follow these steps:
Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed.
Click Raise Money.
Select The Green Family Foundation.
Choose a cover photo and fill in the fundraiser details.
Click Create.
Shop with Amazon Smile! When users shop on Amazon Smile, the Amazon Smile Foundation contributes 0.5 percent of eligible purchases to The Green Family Foundation. Especially for frequent Amazon users, this additional perk is a great way to help support The Green Family Foundation effortlessly. The website is identical to Amazon’s main site, and you can easily browse and shop for items. You can even use your Prime membership benefits, sales and more. Visit your browser (Safari iPhone screen grabs shown below) and type in https://smile.amazon.com/ch/82-4422964 then swipe up on your iPhone to add Amazon Smile to your home screen as a direct link.
Listing an item online for sale? With eBay for Charity, you can help support by donating a percentage of your sales to The Green Family Foundation. Donations made during eBay checkout and Donate Now are tax deductible. Sellers pay standard insertion and final value fees for eBay for Charity listings. However, when your item sells, you’ll receive a fee credit for the insertion fee and final value fee that is prorated to the percentage of the final sales price that you have chosen to donate. For example, if you donate 30% of the final sales price to your chosen charity, you’ll receive a credit for 30% of the combined insertion and final value fees charged.
When you open your PayPal app there is a Donation Button directly on your home screen. Through PayPal Charities you can donate directly to The Green Family Foundation and PayPal covers all transaction costs. Click Donate and Search: The Green Family Foundation
Sponsor Training for Student Athletes. With your help, and the dedicated trainers who volunteer their time; we help young athletes reach the next level in their athletic performance through Body Measurement Tracking, Performance Testing, Speed, Strength, Conditioning, Agility Training, and Recovery Programs.
The Green Family Foundation offers Sports Training Camps to promote a healthy active lifestyle among children and teens in various communities. By offering increased opportunities for physical activity, we hope to inspire an early love of sports and fitness that will serve as the foundation for a healthy way of life. Furthermore, through our science-based curriculum and dedicated coaches, The Green Family Foundation provides the framework to help children build positive relationships, independence and the ability to deal with adversity. Each child will leave our camp with more self-confidence, resources to help them stay focused, make positive decisions, dream big, work hard, and believe in themselves.
