The Green Family Foundation is a partnership with FCA Nevada to provide power camps, resources, outreach community efforts, and encourage the development of physical and cognitive skills necessary to lead a balanced and wholesome life.

MEET OUR TEAM
Virgil is a Tight-End for the LA Chargers. He played for the Denver Broncos for seven years after getting drafted in 2011 and helped lead the team to become Superbowl Champions. In 2018 He was signed with the LA Chargers. He received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice on a full ride football scholarship at the University of Nevada from 2006-2010. Virgil supports nonprofits that explore mentorship and promote athletics as a way to develop life skills. He’s interested in organizations connected to his hometown and the surrounding areas in Central Valley CA, as well as where he attended college in Nevada, and his wife and founder's hometown in Yakima, WA. His passion comes from his football career in high school, college, the NFL, his commitment to God, spreading the knowledge of what daily exercise and health can do, and the importance of teaching our youth to believe in themselves and follow their dreams. Virgil has been an active member in Central Valley community working with various non-profits, schools, and additional programs for children.
Founder & Executive Director
Marianne is extremely passionate about helping people. She began her career as an auditor at JDS Professional Group where her dream of creating a non-profit flourished. She attended the University of Nevada on a full ride basketball scholarship and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She currently volunteers her time at The Green Family Foundation and for various other businesses. She is a stay at home mom to her and Virgil’s son, Virgil Green III, who is two. Marianne has been involved with Alzheimer’s Association, The Dumb Friends League, Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, ACE Scholarships, and other various nonprofits. She believes that her basketball career helped her accomplish her goals and stay focused. She wants to offer sports as an outlet for our youth and give them opportunities that they think wouldn’t be possible.
Development Coordinator & Program Trainer
Christina is the Development Coordinator and Program Trainer based out of Reno, NV for the Green Family Foundation. Christina’s passion has always been helping and serving others. She graduated from the University of Nevada in 2013 where she studied Sports Broadcasting and Communications. She was also a member of the women’s basketball team from 2009-2012. Christina is a NASM certified personal trainer and spin instructor in Reno, Nevada. She spends her days training and coaching clients of all ages and backgrounds. Her desire is to show those around her that fitness and sports are tools we can all use to better every aspect of our lives. Christina has attended Grace Church in Reno for nearly 16 years, and serves on the Grace Church production team and leads a women’s bible study. She has spent time serving at the Reno Gospel mission, the Operation Christmas Child, Moms on the Run and Habitat for Humanity. She hopes to spread the hope and love that is found in Jesus by building relationships with people in the community and providing training and resources through the Green Family Foundation
Program Coordinator & Program Trainer
Jeremiah the Program Coordinator and Program Trainer. He helps connects the public to The Green Family Foundation. Jeremiah promotes our mission by visiting various schools, events, and communities to get the community excited and invested in the multiple programs we offer. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and holds an extensive background in Performance Enhancement Specialties. He was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014, and earned a full ride scholarship to play football at the University of Nevada From 2010 to 2012, and played at the College of Sequoias in 2009. Jeremiah has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. Jeremiah is full of passion, wisdom, and is excited to help get others involved in The Green Family Foundation.
